Branding, Design and Copywriting

Merging my interests and experience in art and psychology to use colour, texture, imagery, and symbolism to communicate information while creating the desired mood, feel, or identity for a brand, business, or community event. While I often gravitate toward simple, minimal, vintage, and handmade designs, I also enjoy exploring bold, retro-inspired posters that make a statement and engage audiences visually.

My interest in design began as Australian National Sales Director for Lush Handmade Cosmetics, where I played a key role in establishing in-store brand identity, media presence, and packaging during the company’s national expansion. Following this, I worked in community development at UNSW Arts & Design Students’ Association and served as Convenor of the Postgraduate Board, co-developing and promoting over 200 events, activities, and campaigns. These experiences sparked my interest in how design influences learning, information absorption, and audience engagement, particularly when combined with principles from psychology and art. I later became a regular guest lecturer for UNSW Learning & Teaching, delivering workshops on visual design and educational content delivery

I am particularly passionate about supporting small businesses and community events in rural and regional areas, where thoughtfully designed branding and visual identity can have a transformative impact on local identity and cultural perception. Research in placemaking and rural design demonstrates that well-considered visual environments strengthen community pride, foster local engagement, and enhance regional cultural narratives.

My services include brand identity development, logo and marketing design, event posters, advertising, brochures, social media content, and WordPress consulting. I offer affordable rates to ensure access for small or sole practitioners, while also consulting on larger, community-oriented projects.
